Winter Concert is Tuesday, December 20th

Concert begins at 7p in the Concord Auditorium. Report time for students is 6:30 in the band room with instruments out and ready for warm-up.

Dress for members is concert attire.   From the Band Handbook:

Concert dress for Men is black pants, coat, socks, shoes, and bowtie, with a white collared shirt.
Concert dress for Women is a black dress OR a black top with a black skirt or pants, neutral-colored hose, and black shoes. Skirt length must cover knees when seated!

Students can add some holiday flair to their concert attire, as long as it does not interfere with any students ability to play their instrument or see the director.

Stay Up-to-Date on Band Activities & Volunteer Opportunities Through CHARMS!

Concord Band parents can now view the band program calendar and sign-up for volunteering through the CHARMS Parent Portal. To view, click on the "CHARMS Band Account Login" at the bottom of the band homepage. Enter your student password, then look for the "School Calendar"** and "Volunteers" icons. Also, look for the "helping hand" icon on the Charms Calendar.

**The "Public Calendar" on the Parent Portal DOES NOT include all activites OR the volunteer opportunities. To view the full calendar, you MUST login to CHARMS.

Because it is web-based, CHARMS can be accessed through the internet from any computer, anywhere in the world. CHARMS is a web-based band program management system to help music teachers and booster clubs organize student contact information, manage inventory, assign uniforms, track attendance, and handle fees, fundraisers, form collection, and lots, lots more.

Concert Bands

Concert bands are the core of any quality band program.  Daily classroom rehearsals teach students practice methods while honing their musical abilities and enhancing their instrumental technique. 

Concert bands exist throughout the school year and are open to all band students.  Every musician needs this daily education, and it is important that it continues throughout the entire school year.
