Fusion Percussion Places 8th in First-Ever WGI Finals Appearance

In 2010, Fusion Percussion, an Independent Indoor Percussion Ensemble based in Concord, NC, reached the final round of WGI World Championship competition for the first time since the group's inception! After placing among the top 10 during the preliminary round on Thursday, April 15th, Fusion took 8th place in the final competition on Friday, April 16th to bring their highly successful season to a close in Dayton, Ohio.

Percussion and Indoor Drumline

The percussion of Concord Bands has a long-standing tradition of excellence, taking top honors at many competitions, and representing the program in other groups.

The percussion of the Spider Marching Band consists of the Frontline mallets and auxiliary percussion, and the on-field Drumline featuring snare, tenor, and bass drums.
